From February 2017 to May 2017, trainers from Breastfeeding Pinays will be visiting different cities and provinces in the Philippines. This is our initial survey to help pool mothers and families together in the area to ensure we have the much-needed participants to push through with the trainings.

The Breastfeeding Pinays Peer Counselors Training and Certification Programme is one of the most comprehensive training on breastfeeding and peer counseling. It is a 16-hour (2-day) hands-on training to be able to confidently counsel mother-babies. You are taught breastfeeding management, peer counseling, lactation massage, monitoring of our laws and creation of mother support groups.


Velvet Escario-Roxas together with Breastfeeding Pinays counselors and educators will be joining you in this two-day training. Rechilda Talle, a lactation massage specialist, will be teaching you specialized massage skills. Collectively, they have trained, taught and counseled hundreds of mother-baby dyads for a successful breastfeeding journey and to be hands-on counselors. Velvet and Nanay Rich are international resource speakers.

For Negros residents, the training will be on April 3-4, 2017 at L’Fisher Hotel from 8:00-5:00 PM. There’s a nominal training fee of P 1, 500 to cover AM snacks, Lunch, PM snacks, training kit, and certificate.
