Exclusively breastfeeding a toddler for more than a year is tough. And even though by now I have supplied Nishka formula, she still prefers the breast. She only drinks 4 oz of formula every day. This is due to not gaining enough weight, her pedia suggested we try giving her formula.
It’s been more than a month, but it’s not making any difference with her weight. She eats well though, so maybe payatot lang talaga si baby? If you’re wondering bakit payat si baby eh ang taba2 naman ng nanay nya, yung tatay po ng anak ko payat. Hehehe. I’ll discuss this some other time.
Anyway going back sa topic ng post (sabaw ko na naman), I’ve experienced low supply when I had mastitis. The antibiotics I was taking caused my supply to drop. I was struggling with the pain of mastitis + a fussy baby at the same time. Fussy siya dahil she’s not getting enough milk.
Good timing kasi I received a box of M2 Concentrate Tea during my struggle of increasing my supply. I was meant to buy M2 Malunggay Tea on my next grocery purchase but thankfully, no need na.
Di ba, good timing! I was so happy when I received this. Dali-dali akong uminom right after I opened the box. Kasi I drank this before pa, when Nishka was a newborn pa lang. My milk didn’t come out until the third day and drinking this has immensely helped me with my milk supply.
Even before I had the chance to review this product, I was already a user and I have been recommending this drink to pregnant mommies and those who are struggling with their supply as well.
So what is M2 Concentrate Tea really? Read on.
In 2011, NatureEarth has introduced M2 concentrate tea drink. With malunggay, okra and ginger as its main ingredients, it is packed with powerful nutrients, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, iron, potassium, calcium and has been proven to significantly improve the amount of milk of nursing mothers. It is, by far, the best and most convenient diet for breastfeeding mothers, which are important for a baby’s growth. Malunggay, okra and ginger are also low-calorie vegetables that are excellent sources of calcium and healthy antioxidants, important for both mothers and their babies.
Breastfeeding moms know that malunggay is a good enhancer of breastmilk. And upon drinking this consistently for weeks when I had low supply due to mastitis, binalik niya yung milk supply ko sa normal.
Okay, okay I know you’re concerned with the taste. Kasi puro veggies nakikita niyo na ingredients di ba? The best thing about this drink is you wouldn’t ever feel na you’re drinking vegetables because it tastes good. I highly suggest you make it a cold drink with ice talaga and you’ll appreciate this drink so much.
I hate taking meds so this was a nice option for me in taking milk supply boosters. Instead of taking malunggay capsules, ito yung naging source of malunggay ko.
So far we’ve covered the effectivity of this drink and the taste, what else have I missed? Hmm. The price! May nanalo na bes, kasi affordable din to!
Yung 330ml is only P100 and 1L is P250 only! And take note, concentrate sya ha. So meaning lagay kalg nag konti sa baso or tumbler or whatever, put water and ice and baaam! Solve na.
Umiinom din si Nishka nito and she loves it too. I don’t get too worried na if she doesn’t eat veggies in a week. I just give her M2, problem solved.
Effective + Delicious + Affordable
That’s M2 Concentrate Tea. Give it a try, you can buy the small one muna. 🙂
The one they sent me, is a ready-to-drink version. I have yet to ask them if they are also going to sell this one. Hopefully they do kasi it’s very convenient. You can bring one and take it anywhere with you, save you the hassle of making a drink.
But please be mindful lang of your trash ha, when I received the products di pa ko zero-waste so tinapon ko lang lahat ng bottles. Now I wish I didn’t kasi it would have made a great flower vase or pencil holder. Or sana binigay ko na lang sa isang junk shop. Anyway, one baby step at a time tayo sa zero-waste. If you like to know the story why I started living trash-free, you can read it HERE.
